Retailer Shoe Carnival will be expanding its line of women’s footwear and to celebrate it, will host the “Festival de Moda VIP Primavera 2014,” a special event on Mar. 23, at the store located in Plaza Caparra in Guaynabo, featuring all of the new brands.

The new selection of women’s footwear of Shoe Carnival has brands such as Anne Klein Sport, Bandolino, Calvin Klein, ReportFootwear, Madden Girl, Nine West, Rampage and Steve Madden, among others.

With the new brands, Shoe Carnival appeals to young professionals and clients aware of fashion, company executives said.

“We are very excited to offer these new top brands in women’s footwear. They will certainly offer variety and the styles they look for to keep up with fashion trends,” said Todd Beurman, senior vice president of marketing for Shoe Carnival.

As part of the “Festival de Moda VIP Primavera 2014,” Shoe Carnival will offer customers a 30 percent discount on their entire purchase at the store when they show a bar coded coupon, that will be available on the retailers Facebook page, or on flyers at the store.  Participants may also register for a chance to win a $250 shoe wardrobe.

The offer is valid only at the Guaynabo store, which will host the event from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. next Sunday.

Shoe Carnival stores continue to offer the public a variety of affordable styles in athletic and casual footwear, boots and accessories for the entire family as well as entertaining buying format. Shoe Carnival currently has seven stores in Puerto Rico. The expansion plans for 2014 contemplate opening two more stores in Bayamón and Mayagüez.
