MasterCard, Plaza Las Américas to host shopping night

Plaza Las Américas and MasterCard are partnering to offer special shopping events this holiday season.

This year’s holiday shopping season will kick off early for MasterCard credit and debit customers, who will get a chance to participate in a special shopping event at the Plaza Las Américas mall Nov. 19, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

During the “MasterCard Priceless Night at Plaza” event, cardholders will have access to discounts starting at 25 percent off at several stores.

“Christmas is a major shopping season worldwide, and the ‘MasterCard Priceless Night at Plaza’ is another effort to reaffirm our appreciation and commitment to our cardholders,” said Manuel Catedral, general manager of MasterCard Puerto Rico. “We’re offering them a unique opportunity to get a jumpstart on their holiday shopping and enjoy preferential amenities in a more festive atmosphere than normally experienced on Black Friday.”

MasterCard Black clients will also have access to a VIP lounge, valet parking, and a $5 discount on a Santa Claus photo package.

“This event is a major boost to start off our merchants’ holiday sales season and an opportunity for our clients to enjoy good entertainment and good purchases,” said Franklin Domenech, general manager for Plaza Las Américas.

More than 25 stores will be participating in the “MasterCard Priceless Night at Plaza” event, including Banana Republic, Bora Bora, Bostonian, Custo Barcelona, Di Morini, Eclectic, Exentrix, Grupo Novus Hecho a Mano, Hugo Boss, Ilori, Journeys, Journeys Kids, Kiehls,Kress, La Gran Vía, Lens Crafters, Lids, Nine West, Pashminas in a Bag, Pearle Vision, Pozzaz and Valija Gitana.
