SHRM-PR holds 39th annual conference this week
The Puerto Rico Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management is gearing up for its 39th annual convention this week, from Sept. 19-22, headlined by local and invited industry talent that will conduct a number of conferences in line with this year’s theme: “Dream. Act. Reach Out. Inspiring leadership and passion for excellence,” the Conference will be held 19 to 22 September at the Hotel El Conquistador in Fajardo.
The lineup of speakers includes: representatives from the Disney Leadership Institute, the renowned author on the topic of leadership, Fawn Germer; acceleration processes specialist, Carlos Paulet; Liz Wiseman, president of The Wiseman Group; and businesswoman and motivational speaker Moraima Iyola.
“The SHRM-PR’s annual conference has always been known for its extensive and serious educational program and this year is no exception,” said Maritza Rodríguez, conference committee chair.
The educational track will begin Wednesday morning. Lifetime achievement awards will be bestowed during the luncheons slated for Thursday and Friday, while the trade group will celebrate its annual assembly Saturday. All events will take place at the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo.
