UPS includes island market in mobile website footprint

UPS customers in Puerto Rico can now track their transactions via the company's expanded www.m.ups.com mobile website.

UPS Puerto Rico customers can now use their smartphones to track packages, calculate shipping rates and find the delivery company’s nearest location following the inclusion of 35 additional countries and territories in its mobile website.

“Accessibility is vital to customers and our mobile offerings extend UPS capabilities to busy, on-the-go professionals and consumers who need immediate access,” said Juan Colón, country manager for UPS Puerto Rico.  “With this expansion, the mobile web site is available in 41 countries and territories, and counting.”

The mobile website is automatically refreshed to display a customer’s package tracking history when the user logs in using a computer or mobile device.  UPS tracking numbers also can be nicknamed for quick reference. The mobile website  was available previously to customers only in the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy and Canada.
